My 58g tank was started up in the spring of 2003, first stocked in May 2003.
Corals
While the corals, fish, and most of the live rock came from my wife's nano + fish-only tanks - this was the first tank whose maintenance, planning, and decisions were mine to make.I've sure learned a lot along the way, as well as changing my focus from a soft coral and `mixed' tank into a heavy focus on stony corals.
You will note that in the fall of 2003, I set up a second reef tank and some livestock [notably the open brain] have moved there.
As is evident, I find it hard to keep things stable over the long-term ... with the amount I've learned in this process, the amount of equipment I've upgraded/etc - a lot has happened since this tank started.
As it is, the equipment is unlikely to change/upgrade - more likely will be an upgrade to a 120 gallon tank in winter 2005-2006.
